The Real Duo was born from the encounter of two professional musicians who carry out an intense musical activity as orchestral players, soloists and teachers.

The group has been set up at the end of the 2002 with the intent to promote a musical formation not so popular. The sonority effect of the Duo, such a so pleasant effect, goes from the contrasts of the clear sounds of the mandolin to the warm sounds of the guitar.

The original sonority of the Real Duo has stimulated the creativity of famous composers. Roland Dyens, Maximo Diego Pujol, Jorge Cardoso, Daniel Binelli, Fernando Carlos Tavolaro and Peppino D’Agostino have written and dedicated their own works to the group.

Moreover, the members of the Real Duo have taken part in master-classes with important musicians to their credit: Chiesa, Grondona, Colonna, Dyens, Ghiglia, Ponce and Diaz.

Significant was their first concert during the Guitar Festival “Guitarra Instrumental” in Madrid, from here the name… “Real Duo”.

Then the Real Duo performed in several International Guitar Festivals such as...  XIV Festival Guitarras del Mundo (Argentine tour), Colima (Mexico) Brno (Czech Republic), Lambesc (France), Veria (Greece), Treviso, Rome, Siracusa, Manfredonia, Lagonegro, Cervia, Pescara, Ventotene and Bari (Italy).

Their CD RealmenteDuo has been published with the ArtC Classica label in the last April 2010.
