Daniel Binelli and Eduardo Isaac present their first CD of Argentine music. They recreate a repertoire ranging from some old tango by Medizabal up to compositions of the end of the century.

The meeting point of these outstanding musicians was the recording of Double Concert for Bandoneon and Guitar by Astor Piazzolla, along with the Argentina National Symphony Orchestra in April in 1997.

Daniel Binelli with his background as bandoneonist and his work on arrangements in the mythical orchestra of Osvaldo Pugliese, went around the world as a member of the Sextet of the creator of nuevo tango, Astor Piazzolla. Being always open to the new tendencies, he develops a brilliant composition work in Argentina’s contemporary music.

Eduardo Isaac is a musician who does the honors to the tradition of his instrument on the Rio de la Plata, his interpretative excellence arouses great admiration from the specialized critics. He is a part of a selected group of guitarists of the new generation usually present at all international festivals of great importance.

The duet merges the unlimited resources of the guitar and the bandoneon to go down deep into the tango language in unsuspected flows. Here we enjoy the tense and obsessed pulse of the music of Buenos Aires, its evoking sadness, existential expression.
